Dear Brave Ones,
Tahmina Tea turns 9 this week, and every year, we celebrate with a sale and campaign that highlights themes of courage. This year’s theme is the courage to hope.
When I honestly reflect on this year, I’m reminded of so much hardship. Inflation is rising, war is raging, and AI is an existential threat. It’s easy to feel so paralyzed by the future and fall into despair.
When I lived in Afghanistan, I had a rule: I am always allowed to grieve the past, but I will not give in to despair about the future. So any death or tragedy that happened that week, I am fully allowed to grieve and mourn that loss.
But with the future, no one can predict what will happen. So if I believe there are infinite negative possibilities in the future, there is also an infinite number of positive possibilities.
It takes courage to hope when our past tempts us to despair. This is the hope that we carry in our communities in Afghanistan and around the world.
Enjoy 20% off our entire store with code ANNIVERSARY20 this weekend, and through our tea, may you find the courage to hope and believe that the future will be brighter.
Thank you for all of your support for the past 9 years for Tea for the Brave.
