Great Tea❤️
Like the taste
Delicious tea
Tried saffron tea, it smells and taste like million dollar. I had family over and they tried it, every one loved it and took photos of coffee box so they can order for themselves.
Wonderful flavor! This mild chai is warming and the perfect tea for a winter morning.
The aroma is very pleasant and tastes great. The bags are good quality as well.
Yummers
I've only tried it once, but it was very delicious.
Just yuck. Not chai-like at all.

Great taste! Great calming effect with a pick me up at the same time!
I’m a huge tea fan. I normally prefer my tea loose leaf to help cut down on waste and carbon foot print but figured I’d give these a try since the pyramids are biodegradable. The tea is fantastic! The flavors or chai and saffron really come through and marry beautifully! The smell is just as amazing as the taste and honestly warms the soul the second it hits the nose and tongue. Truly is a beautiful cup of tea. The company is also fantastic and has wonderful values and cares about the planet and their customers. I absolutely would recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Last week I brewed the last teabag from this package, and I do plan on buying more. The brew created is a bold tea, and it does give more of a boost than other black tea blends I've had. I do like that the bags are biodegradable. I add each bag to my compost bin, and they don't have any problems breaking down. I have brewed each bag multiple times, and it's possible to squeeze a fourth brew. For the price, this tea is a good value
I've been trying to cut down on coffee and have been drinking more tea. The flavors in this tea are wonderful!! And this tea really calms me down, in the middle of the day, before bed, just any time. It only takes a few minutes to get the full flavor just right. I recommend this tea very highly!!
The aroma is wonderful and makes the kitchen smell divine the tea is rich flavors of cinnamon, ginger, and saffron which balance each other wonderfully. The tea itself has a strong flavor to me but my husband adds some cream to lighten the strong taste. The canister is beautiful. I would recommend this tea.
My wife and kids like chai tea and this is a hit with them. If you do like chai tea I believe you would really enjoy this tea too. I do like that the tin it comes in can be reused later on to contain loose leaf tea too. So that is a perk of the packaging.
Now this one we both liked quite a bit. A strong but smooth black, the cardamom somewhat dominates but the ginger adds a tang and the cinnamon is a mellowing influence.Taste is subjective, of course, but I can easily recommend trying this.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. This is a very unique tasting tea that is unlike anything I've tried before. I've been a daily tea drinker for well over 20 years and have tried a large amount of teas and this one is truly unique. This tea makes very rich and bold tasting tea, and I really like how it puts a nice aroma of saffron throughout my kitchen when I'm brewing it.I've tried several different brewing times and I've found that right around 4 minutes produces a full flavored tea without bringing out too much bitterness or making the tea too strong tasting. From a budget stand point it is a bit more expensive than similar teas, but saffron tends to be an expensive ingredient so keep that in mind.
This saffron chai comes in a tube that seals well. Each one is a pyramid bag, which I prefer over other tea bags. The taste is very smooth, and the aroma is very nice. Saffron tea is difficult to come by at a decent price, so I am glad that I found this and am able to purchase it easily. It is a calming tea, and I prefer it in the morning because it is caffeinated. However, it can be enjoyed at other times also. A very good tea at a reasonable price.
My wife drinks chai tea daily and she takes a huge cup with her to work. She loves this tea!!!! We actually use the bag threes times to make three beautiful cups of tea.The flavor is really nice, and different from other chai teas. It does not have a high cardamon taste, high cinnamon taste, it is balanced really well.We add raw honey to our with a couple tea spoons of oat milk to make it creamy. This tea is amazing.
Very good saffron chai. The saffron in this tea is from Afghanistan 🇦🇫. I am reminded to say a prayer for the Afghan people with each cup. I do wonder if Tahmina (from Auburn, Washington) is still able to source this tea with all that is going on in this troubled part of the planet. I was surprised to see that each tea bag can be steeped 3 times which results in these 12 sachets producing 36 cups of tea.
These are larger tea bags. We use one bag in a small tea pot with 3 cups of boiling water. Flavor is rich and smooth, not harsh like black tea can sometimes be. $19 for 12 tea bags is a little pricey, but maybe not so bad if you make 3 cups of tea with each tea bag.
I'm a chai latte person, I pretty much never drink chai without a lot of milk. While this is lovely tea with a nice flavor, it is a little subtle for me. Maybe it's just me, because I used powered Blue Lotus chai usually which you can make VERY strong if you want to. But I did find this tea to be a little but milder than I'd prefer. That being said, the taste is really nice.
I love chai and this blend is perfect. Warm on a cold fall day it tastes great, never gets bitter and I can get 2 brews from a single bag.
I was a little nervous to try this as when it arrived the lid was open and the seal was broken on the tin. The loose leaves can be a little messy and run out of the mesh bag so keep in mind for when you go to take the last sip of tea. The flavor was really nice and intense and made for an excellent cold weather drink. I personally love to add a little almond milk which doesn't seem to affect the flavor. I appreciate the satchels having full flowers which makes it so much more pretty and enjoyable for tea time.
Very nice, difficult to break open sachets that contain plenty of flavor. The box recommends that you get three cups from each teabag, and that seems quite reasonable. The third will be slightly less powerful than the first, but that is to be expected. The first two cups will resonate with interesting spice and powerful flavor that is unlike most of what you'll find in the stores these days, and it doesn't take much more than a look at the bags to see that these are made with quality ingredients. I only wish I had more.
I am a HUGE connoisseur of Tea.So, I do not take a Review of Tea lightly.(In fact, I don't take any review lightly. But Tea is super important and I am very picky about tea. Okay, I'm picky about everything. But I AM picky about Tea, a "favorite thing".)The manufacturer of Tahmina Saffron Chai Black Tea Blend features Organic Whole Leaf Tea Assam Black Tea Blend with Afghan Saffron contains the organic, ethically-sourced ingredients of (from label): organic Assam black tea from India (of course, Assam is a nation-state of India), Saffron from Afghanistan, organic ginger root, organic cinnamon, organic cloves, organic cardamom, saffron, natural cinnamon flavor and natural ginger flavor.Regarding sourcing, it states Product of USA. After all of the info about sourcing ingredients from other parts of the world, I do not understand how a manufacturer can state that it is a product of USA. This does not seem TRUTH no matter how it may be categorized by law. My opinion.Tahmina makes an outstanding product. And they are pretty transparent in their description of where they get the important bits. The Cinnamon taste is over the top and overpowers other flavors yet creates a beautiful symphony on the tongue.I am not so into cinnamon that I will buy this again. But I highly recommend it for cinnamon lovers. It's just that I expected more exotic "saffron" related taste and more Assam taste because Assam tea has a delicate, unique and delicious flavor. I am not a fan of "natural flavors". That's just corporatese for artificial flavoring to me. Natural would be the actual herb in its natural form. But I guess that's just me?Anyway, the important thing is, it tastes great and it looks impressive - from packaging to bag - in fact, very good for gift.Incidentally, although they state is it "High Caffeine",I find that at the recommended steep time of 4 min, and even the 5-15 minutes that I steep at, the caffeine is not too much for this caffeine-sensitive person.I find this to be an exceptional product in luxurious yet perfect standard packaging for tea of a metal cylindrical box with a tight-fitting, but easy-on, easy-off, plastic lined lid.Although the contents are 12 supposedly-Biodegradable(I did not test biodegradability) Pyramid-shaped Tea Bags, they state you can make Makes 36 Cups of Tea.You are instructed to save and re-use each teabag 3 times.I have used 1 teabag twice so far and my tea was even more strong today than yesterday in flavor.I think I will definitely get at least one more steeping out of it.Since it is caffeinated, I do not want this tea more than once per day.So I do not waste it, I store the tea bag in the fridge between steeping in an air-tight container.
The chai comes in an attractive medal tin that could be reused when the chai is gone. The chai mix is in small sachets and smell wonderful once the tin is opened. One sachet can make up to three cups of tea. Considering there are 12 sachets, the whole tin makes a lot of tea. Once seeped, the tea has a mild chai flavor and is extremely good. This is definitely a tea I would buy again. Five stars!
Chai tea is my favorite and I've tried a lot of different brands of chai. I like this brand, though not my favorite. I've never tried a saffron chai and I can't say that I found anything special tasting about the saffron. These come in a nicer fabric type tea bag. I don't think this is particularly strong or fragrant compared to some of the brands I've tried but it's not bad either. I have to let it sit a little longer for the flavor to be as strong as I'd like it. Overall, I like this chai and it's great to add it to some of the other varieties I've tried.
I like this chai. You can really taste the saffron, in fact it is so strong it almost overwhelms all of the other chai spice flavors. I didn't think it was possible to have too much saffron, but I actually wish there was less saffron in it so I could taste more chai. That said it's still a pleasant cup of tea. You get 12 pyramid shaped tea bags in a metal tube. They say it will brew 36 cups, but it will only brew 12 cups. The tea is not strong enough to make a second cup re-using the same tea bag. It's pretty mild flavored as is on the first cup. The tea I received in November 2021 expires in June 2023.
I love chai and that is pretty much all I drink with the exception of some pu-erhs. I have never had chia with saffron in it before, and I could definitely taste (and smell and see) the saffron. My fingers were yellow from handling the wet tea bags and the yellow had migrated up the string that's how much saffron was in the tea. This is a very smooth tea, no bitterness, and not spicy at all. I appreciate that the pyramid style tea bags (which allow for better flow through) are not nylon/plastic, and I love that it is mostly organic. I did not, however, find that the bags lended themselves to multiple steeps well (too weak) and so feel that this tin is a 12 serving tin which make this a bit spendy though I do understand saffron is expensive. I plan on keeping the tin and using it for storing other teas I have that could benefit from a more airtight container, so that's kind of handy.
This is a really delicious tea. I love the style of tea bag because I really get the most flavor during the steep. The chai flavor is absolutely perfect with a hint of saffron. I enjoy drinking it plain or adding in milk and sugar to kick of that chai flavor. Highly recommended
Saffron’s delicate flavor blends nicely with the other ingredients in this tea, and I find it to be a very smooth taste. I normally drink green teas, but this is a fun way to mix up an afternoon cup or two. Saffron and chai complement each other well.
This is a really lovely chai. A little different with the saffron but it makes it almost luxurious. Very smooth. Steeps nicely and has a good scent while in the cup.
This tea is soothing and relaxing. I enjoy letting the tea really simmer in the cup to get a strong flavor. Nice taste and enjoyable. Def worth the price
I love this tea because it's balanced enough to drink straight / unsweetened but bold enough to make an excellent Chai latte
I'm a big coffee person (mostly pour overs and I drink my coffee black), but I have to say Tahmina's blend of saffron chai tea has made me more of a tea drinker this year. The chai is well balanced with the saffron in this tea. I don't add any milk or sugar to my tea and just love the natural flavors of this tea as is. You get 3 solid cups from each sachet. It's a welcomed addition to my morning/afternoon routines now.So glad it's available on Amazon now too!
I just had my first cup and omg it was so delicious! Flavors amazing and you can taste every bit of it. Not weak just AMAZING! I’m not big on writing reviews but I had to write on this one. Worth the cost
Love this company and everything they’re about. This product really stands out. Delivery came just as expected, the packaging is beautiful and the taste is superb. Rich flavors of ginger, cinnamon and saffron that blend together perfectly. It is earthy with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommend!
I searched for this tea when I got a sample of it. Totally worth the price. Super tasty and good caffeine amounts.
Best chai I've ever had and it's for a good cause!
really tasty but i’m poor and can’t afford it all the time. i got it in a sipsby box and fell in love with it
The best for eyes
I am a big fan of chai tea and heard about this brand from a hipster friend of mine and decided to give it a try.The design of the container and individual tea bags is very beautiful and elegant. It’d make a great gift during the holidays.I don’t actually have a great sense of smell and usually have to put things right under my nose, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I could smell the tea right when I opened the container. Very bold, strong cinnamon flavor.I was initially afraid it might be too bitter for my liking, but the actual taste of the tea was pretty light and very easy to drink. I had to control myself and not binge drink it all right away. I had it plain without any cream or milk, and found the taste to be refreshing. There is a drink my Korean friend gave me several times at her house called sujeonggwa (persimmon paunch), and this tea reminded me of a sugarless version of that tea.Definitely recommend if you are tired of Tazo or other basic tea brands.
From the packaging to the flavor of the tea, I really enjoyed it. The flavor is strong enough to withstand a large amount of water. I will have to try it iced and with milk, but having a regular hot cup of tea with honey did the trick. It was soothing and tasty.
This saffron chai tea is deliciously fragrant and soothing. My favorite way to enjoy it is as a latte with honey and cinnamon. The saffron flavor is gentle and smooth. Additionally the tea is packaged so beautifully that you will want to save and decorate with the container! Best of all is knowing that buying this tea is supporting women in conflict zones!
A person close to me mentioned that I needed to try this tea and I am sure glad they did. I have had it in my house for around a week and have had about 4-5 hot cups of tea so far. I really like it. First..has a beautiful aroma, i love the way it makes my house smell. The Second thing I love is how strong it can be. I at times loves strong tea and it can be good strong. You can also have it lighter but i like it strong. I usually have mine with a little bit of cream and that is my favorite way with this tea. I love the tea and the more I read about the company the more I love their vision. thank you for caring and making some great tea...
