Sometimes it's fun to treat yourself to simple high quality items like this tea Tahmina Saffron seems to be. Nicely caffeine free with turmeric and ginger. As well as saffron. Supposedly good for immune as well as calming and so worth a try for me. Twelve teabags which seem to be reusable, can be resoaked, or left steeping for multiple cups. Soft, yellow tea for a little self pampering time. Comes in a cute storage tin/ bottle container. That tightly seals. Looks cute in the tea section of our hot chocolate bar.
I've really glad I ordered this saffron-turmeric tea from Tahmina--it's kind of a warm, spicy hug in a mug. You're first hit with a bright, punchy lemon and citrus flavor, which give way to a throat warming kick from the ginger and black pepper. Turmeric can sometimes taste super heavy or earthy, but they blended this with licorice root which adds just enough natural sweetness to totally out the bitter edges. You don't even really need honey unless you just want it sweeter. It has this beautiful, bright golden color because of the saffron, and since it’s completely caffeine-free, it makes the perfect cozy drink to unwind with at night. I've seen this brand more and more and with (what I think is a) high-quality tea, I can see why. It's not a value brand, but I do think it's worth it if you really enjoy this unique blend of a non-traditional caffeine-free tea.
This tea was a delightful surprise. The taste is delicate yet full of flavor, with a smooth, well-balanced blend that isn't overpowering. The ingredients are listed clearly on the package. I appreciate the combination of turmeric, ginger, saffron, and the other herbs. I added a little sugar and a splash of milk, although it tastes just as good on its own. Since it's caffeine free, it's a pleasant choice for relaxation. The pyramid tea bags are good quality and showed excellent durability during steeping without tearing. Considering how many cups each package makes, I think it offers good value for money. Overall, this is a flavorful herbal tea with thoughtfully selected ingredients that I'd happily keep on hand.
Okay let me preface how taste is subjective and I didn't love the combination of saffron and turmeric, Both flavors that I love on their own in different foods and desserts but this was not my cup of tea. Let me also state that the saffron used in this tea is from Afghanistan. It's not the first country that pops in my head when I think of saffron as the world's foremost is likely grown and harvested in Iran. I can see how this tea packs a bit of a health and immunity boost. I think the flavor can be enhanced with some honey and a tiny bit of milk or if it's steeped in warm milk instead of water. The color is beautifully amber and you can certainly smell the turmeric and ginger. I just don't think this was for me at nearly $20 for 12 teabags (each tea bag yields more than a cup of tea according to the instructions).
This tea smells and tastes SO good! If you like the ginger taste it's not overly strong but it is noticeable. This is good, fresh tea with quality ingredients. It comes in little tea bag pouch things but you're going to need an infuser/steeper if you're a tea bag person and expecting a string. (I have a cute little sloth that sits on the side of my cup haha) Ginger specifically has some great benefits for gut health which can help you relax, so if that's of interest this might be the one for you. The price is on the higher end, but you pay for quality with these :3

This tea comes with 12 sachets of tea herbal tea. The tea is a mix of turmeric, ginger, saffron, etc…. They are all known ingredients that are beneficial for the health. The tea is very well packaged to preserve the freshness. The tea itself has a beautiful color from the saffron. It tastes good overall, however, I don’t particularly like the licorice taste, which is quite prominent in this tea. The tea appears good quality though it seems pricey for just 12 sachets of tea.

I believe this tea is very pricey considering you only get twelve bags of tea in this canister. I also think the tea itself is bland. There is really no taste in fact. There may be a hint of black pepper you taste after drinking it but I have had much more flavorful teas. I do like the canister it comes in and the aroma from the tea is faint. I do like how you can physically see the ingredients and they are not grounded into a powder where you cannot identify anything you are drinking. I also like how clear what the ingredients are and that they are responsibility sourced containing no plastics. Now days I feel like everything has microplastics. The tea is also sourced from Northern America according to the advertising. All the ingredients are healthy; therefore, I would say the tea is healthy. Although, there is so little you may not see any affects. The tea is caffeine free and is soothing with a bit of honey.

Tahmina Saffron Immunity Caffeine Free Tea with Turmeric, Ginger and Saffron. Easy to make, the loose tea comes in a pyramid bag(says can be used for 3 brews each) so you just boil 8 ounces of water and drop in. The bags smell nice when you open the tin, the bags look look nice as well. The tea it makes is very underwhelming thou, it comes out that saffron yellow but the flavor is juts not there. I can tell there is a mix of flavors in there but maybe the only I can really discern is the black pepper and juts barely. Another thing is when I drink caffeine(which I almost never do) I can feel it in the front of my head, I got a little of that from this tea so its low in caffeine but still noticeable. So while it looks like a great presentation, I find it a disappointing tea in the end.
First time trying out this special blend of saffron/turmeric/ginger caffeine free tea....very different than the white/yellow/red/black tea i usually drink. Each teabag is made very well. It can be used to brew at least 3 cups of 8 oz tea. I decided to brew three cups at once. Brewing time is 3-4 minutes in 212F boiling water instead of the usual 5-7 minutes. The turmeric aroma is noticeable out of the canister...after brewing i can smell and taste the turmeric and ginger flavors...a bit too strong for me for an herbel tea...diluting with water made it much better for me. Cost of the tea is pricey due to the saffron ingredient. The label on the canister say the saffron is from Afghanistan and the tumeric is from India. There are other ingredients in each tea bag. I do feel more relaxed after drinking this tea...looking forward to drinking more in the future.
This has a really nice warming combination of turmeric and ginger, with the saffron making it a little more interesting than the herbal teas I normally find. I especially like that it’s caffeine free, so I can drink it later in the day without thinking about it. It's not as naturally flavorful as some of my go-to's (Rooibos etc) but good to boost immunity.

This arrived with sealed broken. But I still give it a try. This Calming Turmeric and Ginger with Saffron, has more tumeric aroma than others. It’s easy to make and make a decent caffeine free tea. I am drinking it just for the benefit. It’s natural ingredients which I like it. Not so good taste but can add honey for better taste

I didn't find this tea blend to have as much flavor as another variety I tried from this same brand, but it was still calming, albeit light. While the quality is visible, the value is relative to the ingredients used. Saffron is renowned for being pricey due to the manual labor involved in harvesting it, so I'm sure that contributes to the pricepoint. I would classify this tea in the luxury range for me, something that wouldn't be a pantry staple, but I wouldn't say no if it were gifted to me.

I like that this tea is caffeine free, so I can drink it later in the day without worrying about it keeping me awake. The blend has turmeric, ginger, saffron, orange peel and a few other ingredients that make it feel like a nice wellness tea. The pyramid tea bags are a good size, and I also like that each one can be steeped more than once. The tin is really pretty and keeps everything organized. This is a nice tea to have when you want something warm and calming, especially in the evening.

Super yummy tea! This has an earthy mild taste with a smooth finish and smells amazing. It has an almost cinnamon note and is very warm. I am a tea fanatic and typically only drink loose leaf but this seems to be very high quality begged tea. It’s not the “tea dust” that many tea bags contain. It has a very quick steep time, I only let it sit for about 3 minutes before mixing in some raw honey and removing the bag. It seems that you can use these bags several times which is amazing! It makes the value really good. Saffron has amazing health benefits and is used in some cultures as a mood stabilizer. It’s pretty great that it’s so enjoyable to drink! I shared a sip with my daughter who is not a tea person and she loved it too! It’s just such a unique taste and smell. Good aftertaste too, which can be an issue with some tea. I think it would also be good as a sun infusion and iced. It’s cute sitting out on a counter and seems to be very high quality all around! Love this tea.
