Needs a hell of a lot more saffron
Didn't enjoy the taste
I don't love the taste and the aroma, kind of felt like drinking infused grass. It's very strong and overwhelming, but maybe someone would enjoy it better. Still think it's too expensive for what it is - I didn't drink it and basically wasted $20. I did appreciate the Biodegradable Pyramid Tea Bags, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3.
Strong saffron flavor
I love sencha tea and have to admit that the saffron flavor is strong and can be overwhelming. I don't totally love it because the flavor is split evenly between sencha and saffron. It is not a complete compatible flavor in my opinion. It is nice that they come in their own separate bags for easy brewing.
Wonderful blend!
I seriously love this tea, and I am a big black tea drinker, green isn't usually my go-to. I have enjoyed this one in the evening to wind down, or during the day for a light pick me up. The flavor is light and fresh, slightly minty and floral alongside the green tea flavor. I wish the tea cost less, but I also feel that it's worth the price.
Excellent quality tea, can be steeped up to 3 times!
These aren't your typical tea bags. They're much higher quality than your typical grocery store aisle big name tea brands. How can you tell? Because they can be steeped up to three times. The leaves are packed with flavor, and you'd be wasting the bag to only steep it once. If you try steeping most tea bags even a second time, you'll be left with no flavor. I love the fact these bags also have the health benefits of saffron in them.I took off a star because the flavor is only okay. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but doesn't taste very different from the leading grocery store aisle green tea bags. The saffron adds no additional flavor (that I could detect) to the tea. But, because this tea is higher quality, I suspect it has greater health benefits from grocery store aisle tea. And that's a big reason why many folks drink tea! For health! I'm excited to continue drinking the rest of what's left in the cute tin it comes in.
Delightful
The green tea with saffron was delightful, especially with a good squeeze of fresh lemon. I tried it without the lemon & it was just as good. What's inside the silky teabag is intense enough for a couple of cups of really good tea
Flavor isn’t there
Love the silk sachets and the vacuum sealed can. The flavor is lacking though. I can taste the hint of mint, but all the flavors are pretty faint, even if I steep for a while. There isn’t a bitter taste from the teabag though. A half a cup or small cup gives me the energy boost I need throughout the day.
large tea bags are good for 3 cups each
These are larger tea bags. We use one bag in a small tea pot with 3 cups of 170F water. Flavor is rich and smooth. $19 for 12 tea bags is a little pricey, but maybe not so bad if you make 3 cups of tea with each tea bag.

I am a tea drinker. Every morning, I brew a kettle of a mix of Genmaicha and Hoijcha in a pewter teapot. Loose leaves, brewed to perfection.Always open to trying new teas and I had never seen saffron in a green tea blend before.This tea is exactly, perfectly, everything it purports to be.It is deep and rich and flavorful.The catch for me-I did not like the saffron taste in the tea.I know what you are saying, "Dude, this is saffron tea! How can you take a star away for that?"I struggled with this and thought, "Well, I didn't really like the taste. My review needs to reflect this."One star off here is fair by my estimation.The saffron was strong, which is interesting because, when I buy saffron for stews, the threads are incredibly expensive, so I assumed a subtle taste of saffron would be in the tea.Nope. Good try
Saffron is a powerful spice high in antioxidants. It can improve mood, reduced PMS symptoms and enhanced weight loss. This Saffron Sencha Tea with Organic Whole Leaf Tea, only contains couple pcs saffron, but its enough for the daily need. I think it's a pretty good tea bag for period time.It comes 12 Biodegradable Pyramid Tea Bags, each bag can steep 3 cup of tea, good value.However, I don't like the flavor.

Full Flavored and Generous Bag Portions ❤
This Saffron Sencha green tea is exactly what Inwas hoping it would be. When I first agreed to try this out and share an honest opinion on it, I was a little concerned I wouldn't like it very much because this contains lemongrass. It is hard to balance the rather strong taste of lemongrass when it comes to tea, at least in my opinion, and I find that many teas that include it can be a little overwhelming for me. This brand has done an excellent job at making all of the ingredients and flavor profiles blend perfectly together. It is a full bodied tasting tea but the flavors all are smooth. They all compliment each other nicely. I can make out each of the individual but neither of them are too potent or too overbearing. I would say that the green tea is the predominant flavor, which I like. The second flavor I can make out is the peppermint, followed by a slight hint of lemongrass and saffron. The ginger comes in as a slight afternote that you really have to pause in order to make out. Another thing I like about this is that it is not at all weak. As you can see in the pictures I have uploaded, each tea bag has a generous portion. Once my tea had steeped for a couple minutes it was pretty much bulging at the seams because of how much tea they put in the bag. They sure didn't skimp out. Despite it being a full tea bag, this tea does not taste bitter even if you leave it steeping for a long time. I honestly couldn't have received a better impression and I would highly recommend this.
Not the most flavorful
This green tea wasn't as intense as the others I've tried from the same brand. When it arrived with the seal open and bags out of the tin I was a little upset. The leaves are extremely fine in a mesh bag so it was very messy to clean up and to drink. The bottom of the cup was just full of leaves and I felt I would need an additional strainer the next time I drank it. The flavor was pretty and light but even after steeping for well over ten minutes the flavor wasn't as bold as I would have liked.
Very aromatic tea
This tea is jam-packed with flavor. It's very aromatic. I didn't feel the need to sweeten it, it was perfect as is. The tin it's packaged in makes it great to gift (perhaps paired with a mug or good book).
Nice flavor tea
I like the tea. Some of the ingredients are listed as organic but it isn't certified organic. I like the packaging and the pyramid tea bags. I wouldn't say it's spicy or minty. It's a unique flavor that is refreshing and calming. It has a moderate level of caffeine.
A Light Refreshing Cup of Tea
This Thamina Saffron Sencha Tea is a light, refreshing cup of tea. The addition of ginger root, lemongrass, peppermint, and saffron make the experience absolutely delightful.I don't agree that each bag can be brewed 3 times. These aren't large bags, and the flavor is so light that even the second cup would be too mild for me. But, the tea bag will brew a larger cup right the first time.The price is too high for me, but if your budget allows for it, the flavor is quite good and unique.
Great presentation with individual packets
Saffron is known as one of the most expensive spices in the world and this tea certainly makes you feel like you're brewing a cup of luxury. The price is slightly higher than what I would like to pay for 36 cups of tea but like I said the ingredient supports its pricing.The taste is not overwhelming as you might think with most herbal tea. It doesn't leave a bitter after taste or chalky undertone. I think it pairs well with a splash of your favorite citrus sweetener, or if you prefer adding some other herbal ingredient, it can definitely bring out additional layers of flavors.
Non-overpowering flavor that I didn't expect
How strong you like your tea flavor probably determines what you will think about this particular one. It isn't bad. I was concerned about what saffron would do to the taste as I'm not really familiar with saffron (it's an expensive spice). But I saw ginger in the ingredients and I love many things that include ginger. And after green tea, ginger is the next listed ingredient. However, the flavor is more minty than anything else. It smells minty and tastes minty. I'm not really a minty tea lover, so you can imagine where my verdict on this tea is going.It's not so bad that I won't finish the canister. It isn't a very powerful taste and of course you can steep it to your own taste if you want it weaker or stronger. But I wouldn't buy this based on my experience. I wish the name of the tea was Lemongrass Mint Sencha with a hint of saffron. Then I would have known not to waste my time with it.That said, if you love minty lemongrass teas with a hint of saffron, give this a try as you'll probably like it.
Beautiful Tea, Delicious and Nicely Packaged
This is a high quality tea that is very giftable because of the beautiful packaging and delicious taste! Would make a nice Christmas gift for a colleague or neighbor with a fun mug- smells great, tastes soothing and wonderful, and such a nice decorative canister.
Pleasant Tea, But Little Ginger Flavor
Saffron’s delicate flavor blends nicely with the other ingredients in this tea, although peppermint and sencha seem to be the predominant flavors. I’m not a big fan of mint teas, but this combination is refreshing rather than overwhelming. Even so, I was hoping to taste ginger root more than I do—it’s one of my favorite tea additions, and is second in the ingredient list, yet I don’t detect it at all.
Smooth and a bit spicy
This Tahmina saffron sencha tea comes in a beautiful elegant container. When brewed the tea has a very unique taste unlike anything I have had before. Lightly flavored saffron green tea that tastes like mint & brews to a slightly cloudy golden yellow
There are 12 sachets in this tin. Upon opening the box I was hit with a whiff of what smelled like mint. The brew also tastes minty with a hint of what might be saffron. I brewed one sachet to about 8-10 ounces of 185 degree Fahrenheit water for 3 minutes. The brew came out a slightly cloudy golden yellow. Note that saffron is practically the last ingredient and it is the peppermint that comes through on this brew to me.The current price of $19 comes to a costly $1.58 per cup. Note that this is a blend of sencha green tea from China and saffron from Afghanistan. The ingredients are organic sencha green tea, organic ginger root, organic lemongrass organic peppermint, saffron, and natural lemon flavor.

The ginger, peppermint, lemon and saffron flavors are pretty well balanced without overpowering one another. It is very fragrant as well.This comes in 12 biodegradable pyramid mesh bags in an airtight tin container, tape sealed for protection and freshness. Each tea bag can steep up to 3 times, making 36 cups in total. The sencha green tea is sourced from China while the saffron from Afghanistan. Overall, I really like this tea. unique taste
I really enjoyed this tea blend. It’s just has a nice balanced flavor. I like mine are iced. This would be good hot as well. I tried it with a little bit of honey and then again with a little bit of Stevia. They both tasted really good. I like that this is certified organic and it’s a traditional thing. How are you recommend it if you like different tea.

When drinking this tea, it is all about the saffron in aroma, taste, and color. The pyramid sachets do not appear to be biodegradable.

I love green tea, and I really love this brand! I've been drinking green tea for health benefits for many years. I've tasted many over the years. Maybe it's the saffron, but this green tea is very smooth. I don't add any sweeteners or cream. It's pleasing to my taste just plain. I drink 3 cups every morning. (One tea bag.) It's part of my ritual.

I was really excited to try this saffron green tea blend and it definitely did not disappoint. It had wonderful notes of ginger and lemongrass that lingered at each sip.
